Uttar Pradesh Govt. has conducted UPTET 2011 for the recruitment of Assistant Teacher in Primary School. The recruitment was to be conducted on the basis of UPTET ranking. Now the present Govt. revert the previous design and now no primary teacher recruitment will be done on the merit of UPTET.
Like other states Teacher Eligibility Tests i.e. CTET, RTET, HTET the UPTET will also be a Screening Test only.This year UPTET Exam is going to be conducted by Exam Controlling Authority i.e. Vibhag pariksha niyamak pradhikari.
The Applications are to go Online this year. UPTET regulatory authority are planning to establish online application process for Utter Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2013. Its biggest advantage would be that time period will not be long in computerization of coming application forms.
Please Note : Applications shall be made available from January 2013 onwards.
Minimum Qualifications for Level-I (Teachers for Class I-V):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Minimum Qualifications for Level-II (Teachers for Class VI-VIII):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
