Unified Council is a professionally managed progressive organization in the field of education, established in the year 1998 by eminent personalities from various fields, some of who are academicians of international repute. Since its inception, Unified Council has brought together the best brains in the field of education in an endeavor to make the younger generation with fundamentally stronger and to nourish their brains for a bright and enterprising future.

Unified Council is working towards helping school, teachers, students and parents get an exact picture of the level of scholastic skills of the students in subjects of Mathematics and Science. This is being done through National Level Science Talent Search Examination and State Level Science Talent Search Examination.

Fundamental Revolution

The focus on fundamentals is so important, that when the child finishes studies/graduates he/she will face the competitive world with equanimity, armed as he/she is, with these fundamentals. Even while opting for higher studies the student has to go through a complete scan of what he/she knows and how much. Exams like IIT-JEE, AIIMS, AFMC, AIEEE, CAT, SAT, GRE, GMAT etc. are so designed to test the fundamental strength of a student. Hence the need of the hour is to build a fundamental base as strong as possible.

This exactly is the philosophy behind the NSTSE/SLSTSE. Hence we call it the Fundamental Revolution.

Unified Council also realizes that it cannot fully achieve its objectives unless the teaching fraternity is equally made aware of the urgent need for innovation in teaching methods for strong fundamentals of a student. Hence it aims at bringing about a speedy and steady change in the way science education is being imparted in the country.

Unified Council eventually aims to become a Centre of Excellence for promotion of quality science education through research, especially in the area of science education and subsequent training of teachers in new teaching methodology.

Principal Activities

Conducting self assessment exams
Offering special education programmes / material tailored to meet each and every student's requirements (memory techniques, effective study techniques, exercises to improve memory power etc.) through success series books.
Guiding the student choosing a career which is most apt for the student's strengths and abilities.Developing interactive learning kits and activities.Conducting programmes for the overall development of a student.

We are conducting workshops/seminars on MIND & MEMORY MANAGEMENT, by teaching them various aspects like when to study, where to study, how to study, and finally WHY TO STUDY. These concepts are being put together scientifically, by great western and Indian psychologists, educationalists and psychiatrists.

Never before has a workshop of this kind been made available to students, and we are confident that students will benefit both psychologically and mentally. We are also sure, participation in the seminar will make students better oriented and focused.

We have a lot of plans for this programme and intend to introduce it all over the country in the near future.

RESOURCE PERSONS

Our resource persons are experts in the fields mentioned, some of who have acquired international repute.

You all know that stress is a cause for concern, particularly among students during the examinations. Dr. B.V. Pattabhiram, a Doctorate in Psychology will enrich the participants with his magical stress reduction techniques. He has trained thousands of students all over the country in the past 25 years.

Mr. Yandamuri Veerendranath, a famous writer, personality development motivator and a household name in South India, conducts classes all over Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Karnataka, on various subjects like MIND MANAGEMENT, NLP and CREATIVE CRISIS. He is a practicing Chartered Accountant, with vast financial management experience.

The face is the index of the mind. And handwriting is the index of success. Good handwriting develops confidence among the students. At present, the highly competitive examination systems demand fast writing skills also. Mr. Mallikarjun, a Grapho-analyst, trained by Mr.Bart Baggett (USA) will also participate in this unique workshop.
