Tamil Nadu Board class 12th results 2013 has been declared. The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations made this announcement on Thursday at 10am. The students can log on at http://tnresults.nic.in to see their results.

According to reports, more than eight lakh students took the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board examination conducted from March 1 to March 27.
Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education was set up in 1910 functions under the purview of the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The board conducts two board examinations in a year- one examination at the end of class 10 and the other at the end of class 12. The scores from the class 12 board examinations are used by universities to determine eligibility and as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes.
