University Campus, Mangalagangotri, is located on a picturesque hillock, spread over 350 acres of land, 18 kms away from Mangalore city. The University has 25 Post-Graduate Departments on the Campus with 190 affiliated colleges/institutions that include 2 constituent, 4 law, 18 education and 5 autonomous colleges. Financial support from different funding agencies for the 29 ongoing Research Projects.
University has excellent infrastructure facilities like University Library, MANGALA Auditorium, Cyber Lab with 1 Gbps Internet Connectivity, Sports facilities and Hostels for Men and Women. There are two National Research Facilities namely Microtron Centre and Ocean & Atmospheric Science and Technology Cell. University has 19 Endowment Chairs on areas like Banking, Rural Development, Yoga, Environment, Literature, Fine Arts, Culture, Religion and Regional languages.
