UPSC www.upsc.gov.in  SCRA 2014 Recruitment Notification

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), to fill up 42 vacancies in it is going to conduct 'Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination (SCRA), 2014 on 12th January, 2014. Through this exam, it recruits Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. All the candidates who are eligible and interested can apply Online from 05th October, 2013 to 04th November, 2013.

UPSC SCRA 2014 . Eligibility Criteria for SCRA 2014 :
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have successfully done their Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination and pass in first class. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects.

Age Limit : Applicant should be between 17 yrs and 21 yrs as on 01-01-2014. Age Relaxations will be applicable as per rules.

3. Application Fee :

1. Rs. 100 must be paid by the candidate either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI.
2. No fee for SC / ST / Female / PH candidates.

4. Selection Process : Based on the performance of the candidate in Written Examination and Interview, selection of a candidate will be done.

5. How to Apply : Visit the official website www.upsconline.nic.in and apply online before 04th November, 2013. Take a printout of the application form after submission.
